LOGOS Guildworks

LOGOS GUILDWORKS cultivates artistic voicings of the Hebrew Bible and Gospel, asserting faith's substance through God’s divine means, and by conversations in community of Christ. Artworks of LOGOS co-join the essential covenantal call to Abraham in Genesis, L'chi lach lech l'cha vaderech "Go out from your country and kinsmen to be a blessing unto the Nations…I shall bless you, and in you all the families of the Earth shall be blessed" similarly holding Jesus' call to us to be "Salt and Light, a city on a hill," beatific light of the world and new Jerusalem for humankind.

The Guildworks continues to be developed as a call and witness of design in dialogue–art as transformative experience of life in Abrahamic faith traditions. Our desire is for excellence, living witness in faith and worship, collaborative innovation and pastoral vocation through LOGOSdivinity Guildworks. Artists are invited into the Guildworks based on their artworks and on their personal and professional, living witness of the life,

language and message of Scripture. Artworks accepted are considered exceptional in their articulation, rooted spiritual traditions in lived faith and customs (minhag in the Hebrew Bible), and in messengering the Christian Gospel.

Works embody faith-based artistic expression voicing the Hebrew Bible and/or the Gospels

(inclusive of basic tenets of Abrahamic faiths).

Works cohere spiritually, devotionally, theologically in the Hebrew Bible and Gospels, also addressing fundamental tenets of the Abrahamic faiths.

Works articulate contemporary expression in voicing and making a joyful noise to God—across the religious gamut from (small-o) orthodoxy to (small-r) reformedtradition to (small-c) conservative theologies–in new, vital forms of devotional artistic expression in the Abramahic faiths.

Artforms include those historically established and endowed by patronage, may also be contemporary and modern or re-envisioned as classical, customary, traditional, inspirational, devotional, liturgical or ecclesial. To see GUILDWORKS members media please also visit our youTube channel.
